SFCM

The One and Only

The SFCM flange bearing housings have been designed to meet high-quality and economic demands. The utilization of the SFCM series ensures maximum bearing lifespan with reduced maintenance requirements. Thanks to the modular system and various sealing options, custom-made housings are often unnecessary, making them particularly cost-effective.

Benefits

Why is it the one

A significant advantage of the SFCM flange bearing housings is their split design. This allows for correct and easy assembly, making it possible for the first time even with flange bearing housings.

Tailored Seal Options

You can choose between different Seal arrangements. TS-Rings are labyrinth-seals for high-speed, max temperature of 200°C and bigger particles. If it comes to operation under humidity conditions you have to choose Taconite seal like our TAC - Seal for excample

TSNO seals are used for sealing against internal media or external contaminants. They are similar to DIN 3760 with adapted outer diameters. TSNO seals fit into sealing grooves of our SNGH and SFCM housings. Standard TSNO seals are manufactured with an elastomer part, a metal reinforcement ring, and a spring. Maximum peripheral speed: 20 m/s, maximum operating temperature: 180°C

Bearing assembly

How does it?

Proper bearing installation is crucial for a long and reliable service life. Inspections, revisions, and seal replacements become even more cost-effective with the use of split seals, significantly reducing assembly time. By employing our SFCM flange bearing housings, you achieve an economical and easily mountable bearing solution.

Locknut-Doublehook

Measuring radial clearance in smaller bearings can be challenging. Our recommended method, involving a two-step approach, ensures precise adjustment. By tightening the locknut to a specific torque in the first step, we establish a well-defined starting position. In the second step, the radial clearance is finely tuned by tightening the locknut to a predetermined angle, resulting in a 60% to 70% reduction in clearance. This meticulous approach guarantees optimal bearing performance and longevity.
