SN Plummer Block housings from GLH are favored in mechanical engineering, designed for self-aligning ball or roller bearings. Crafted from cast iron, they offer robust solutions, with options in spheroidal or cast steel for heavier loads. Precision-machined to G7 tolerances, these housings allow axial displacement, compensating for inaccuracies and thermal expansion. Felt-sealed for convenience, alternative sealing methods are available. Primarily for grease lubrication, they come with a year-long grease fill. End covers for shaft-end housings are available upon request, conforming to DIN and ISO standards."

The split SN-Plummer blocks are designed for loading directions perpendicular to the mounting surface. Specifically engineered for use with self-aligning roller bearings, they can be efficiently mounted on either an adapter sleeve or directly on a stepped shaft

For drive bearings that require frequent lubrication, we supply SN housings with grease quantity control These housings are mainly used in ventilation and fan construction, where ongoing lubrication is necessary due to partially increased speeds
SN housings are split housings, sealed with felt-stripe. Upper and lower part are machined while mounted. Do not mixe upper caps with other base parts.
The gasket is fitted with felt strips as standard;the housings are equipped with lubrication holes from the factory. On request, these housings can also be supplied with cylindrical bearings and various sealing variants.
GG20 offers excellent machinability and is highly heat and corrosion-resistant. Additionally, this material provides outstanding finishing capabilities and exhibits excellent properties concerning sound and vibration damping. However, its strength and wear resistance are limited.
